Description

This seed mix brings the full variety of marigolds (Calendula officinalis) to your garden. A selection of different varieties, all in warm shades of orange, creates a harmonious and vibrant play of colours.
The easy-care marigolds are not only a feast for the eyes but also valuable companions in a nature-friendly garden. They bloom tirelessly throughout the summer, attracting bees and other pollinators, thereby enriching biodiversity.
This mix is ideal for flower beds, cottage gardens, or as a complement in vegetable patches. In addition to their decorative appeal, the flowers impress with their versatility: they can be used to make salves or as edible decorations.

Sowing this mix is straightforward, even for beginners, and ensures success:

Sowing time: Direct sowing from April to June, once there is no longer a risk of heavy frost. Pre-sowing is possible from March.

Location: Sunny to partially shaded. The plants thrive in well-drained, low-nutrient soils.

Sowing: Scatter seeds directly onto the prepared bed, press them lightly, and cover with a thin layer of soil. The spacing between plants should be approximately 2030 cm.

Care: Water regularly but avoid waterlogging. A single application of fertiliser in spring is sufficient.

Flowering period: Depending on sowing time, from June until late autumn a true highlight for the entire gardening season.
